Dreaming someone will commission a vintage wedding this year.....just finished a wedding consult this afternoon....
A short post today....off to Chicago for the weekend to celebrate a friend's birthday.

Oh Nella!!!! WHAT A MAGNIFICENT DRESS!!! Dearest, tell me, what exactly do you do? Are you a designer? Thank you so much for coming to visit! I have you on my blog roll but today I didn't get a chance to PLAY and visit my favorite blogs; work CALLED and I had to be in early in my classroom!
ReplyDeleteWISHING YOU A SAFE and wonderful trip to Chicago! Anita
Oh dear Nella,
ReplyDeleteI just noticed that on my blog roll, your post appears as having been posted MONTHS AGO!!! SO..I have you on my roll, but I fear that it will never show up with a new post!!! KNOW that I just LOVE your blog and want to follow you, but for some strange reason, your new posts don't come to the top.....HAVE A GREAT TRIP!! Anita
Oh dear..I tried to fix it but your post on my blog roll says it was posted SIX MONTHS AGO!!! I will have to check up on you daily to see if you post!
ReplyDeleteWoo hoo got your post emailed. This might be the ticket until we figure out that annoying updating thing. I hope you do get a fancy wedding to work on. You would be my first choice.
ReplyDeleteHave fun in Chicago. Another place I've always wanted to visit.
hugs
Carole
Dear Nella
ReplyDeleteMy heart is skipping beats as I gaze at this divine wedding dress - the lace tulle of the veil is exquisite...... I'm totally in love with
the whole look!
I enjoyed your wonderful post about the Malmaison carnation - an exceptional flower which I have just 'the place' for in my garden!
Souvenir de la Malmaison is my favourite rose too.
Your blog wasn't coming up on my blog roll either, but I have added it to my most cherished blogs where without fail I stop for coffee each morning!!
We're all experiencing issues with Blogger at the mo.
I'm especially frustrated that I'm unable to remove from my list, blogs that I'm no longer visiting....
Please do come and visit me and I will get out my prettiest teacups and make you very welcome!!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend in Chicago!
hugs

Good morning Nella,
ReplyDeleteI have been reading some of the recent posts that I have missed here, and getting to know you a bit better. What fun! I loved learning more about the carnations history. I have trouble growing them here in my garden. I have been able to get the some of the white varieties to do okay, but nothing wonderful. I guess, with the limited space I have here, I would rather grow my beloved peonies in their place :)
Your gardens look amazing, and I can't wait to see some of your garden blooms this summer.
